Tales on a Tuesday: A trip to the farm

I went to visit my friend Taylor at
her house this saturday!
She lives on a farm!

A loooooooooooong time ago, her mom had
Buffalo that lived on this farm! Since then,
they sold the buffalo, and rent the fields
to some nice cows.

I wanted to learn more about the farm!
So i asked to take a tour!

Hi cows!

They didn't seem to mind us intruding on their
lazy day.

Hi cows!
I whined at them to let them know
i was no threat, but i wanted to be
their best friend!

Hi tan cow! Taylor's mom says she's her favorite
because she's so beautiful!

I think she's pretty too!

This old girl was watching, but never came to greet me.

This cow wanted to get to know me better.
She kept creeping closer, while i
pulled and pulled mommy closer!

She didn't think me meeting a cow was
the safest thing...
so i didn't get to sniff the cow.
But i got to smell the air around them...
so i'm pretty sure i got the idea!

Dodging the minefield of cow poops,
I continued on my journey.
I followed Taylor close!
We passed this nice cow,
who told us we would soon be journeying into a cold domain.

This cow cow looked like she didn't want us
to go any further- but she just wanted to warn us:

"When you pass through here my friends,
be swift... there are no trees to protect you from the cold
winds that blow. There is endless fields,
and much cow and geese poop to avoid.
Be careful my friends. Travel well.
Stay safe."

The cow then stepped aside.
She's going to be a mommy!

We said goodbye to my new cow friends,
and we went forward into the wilderness...

...to be continued.

How cool that you got to meet a bunch of cows! They seem very nice, too.

Cows are such gentle creatures and have such pretty big brown eyes.
Those landmines the cows leave are huge, and we know all about goose poop too. We have many that spend the summer at a pond near our house and they come into everyone's yards to graze on the grass. (And leave poops!)
