OH NO! 
Hansel has been licking his hair off his leg where the iv had been. It had been healing really well... and by the end of the night, this spot is usually BRIGHT red, and the skin is really really rough there. Mom just noticed this last night. So, she talked to dr. j, who said the collar has to go back on for a WEEK. seriously?It doesn't look that bad in this photo.... but it had more hair before he started messing with it.
AND, mom has to put animax on it for a week too. Animax, is usually an ear ointment, however, it's such a great medication, that you can use it on anything really. When mom gets hurt at work, or other technicians, they use it on cuts and scratches and bites. Because it helps heal really really fast and well. It's a great medicine.
So mom has to put this gross cream on my leg every morning and night and i DON'T like it!!!!
Well hansel, you did it to yourself. However, this time, it hasn't slowed him down, he's running around and playing and jumping and getting into trouble. :)

Poor Hans. It is for your own good buddy. A week will go by fast. Think of it as a Victorian Kitty costume.

A week isn't a real long time, and you should wear it to get all healed!

Hansel that's not cool licking all your furs off like that. But we are glad to know it will heal quickly and you are still having a good time in spite of it!

At least it will force you to stop licking, Hansel. Try to think of it as a fashion accessory. A big, bloo fashion accessory. Yeah. That's it.
Oh Hansel. Sorry to hear about your new costume. But it's definitely better than that hard costume. You've been fortunate it's just the soft costume.
I don't think I would like that at all either. I hope you get well quickly.
Oh no Hansel...talk about embarrasing walking around with some cone thing on....at least it's not of those hard solid ones, then you couldnt get anything done! Hopefully though you heal real fast to get that things off
