This is Maurice.
he was very ascairt.
He finally came out and walked around while mom was there, but he didn't let her touch him.
"yoo gun leaf soon right?"
"WHY ARE YOO TAKIN MAI PICSHURE?!"
Miss Abby on the other hand, was in moms face ALL the time. She couldn't get her out of the camera lens.
At one point while mom was sitting on the floor trying to get maurices attention, little abby climbed into moms lap, took her front paws and wrapped them around moms neck like a hug, and nuzzled and purred(she's chirping in this photo)
maurice is going to be 7, and abby was found wandering around a few months ago, and is now 9 months.
abby is definitely a ham.
Maurice is gorgeous too- with ices that change from a sea green, to an ice blue
these were moms special friends for last week.she's going to miss them.
but the money will go to hansel's vet bills.
we are thankful for that.
and thankful for new kitteh friends.

What cute kitties! Maurice probably misses mom even though he won't admit it. I'm sure Abby will, too. But at least mom is home now.

Those are sweet new friends. Some of us get scairt at our house too when peoples come over, so we understand how Maurice feels.

To answer your question about Joel's name. Mommy and daddy printed a list of the top 200 baby boy names. They chose the 5 they liked best and Joel was the only one on both lists! His middle name is for my daddy's daddy "Grandpa Bill." That is a cool story. Daddy had a dream (this was the week before Joel was born and they had only chosen his first name 2 days before) that he was back at work after Joel's birth and his co-workers were asking him what the baby's name was. He said "Joel William" So, part was a weird that out of 200 names his was the only one they BOTH liked, and part was a dream.

They are beautiful! Little Abby loves attention! But we can sympathize with Maurice being a little suspicious.
Mom loves her catsitting duties too. She sits for 3 different families.
We assume Hansel is still doing well after his surgery. What a fun way to earn some money toward his vet bill. Those are cute cats.
