I just want to point out, that i have a stripe above my right eye, that is black .
Then you can see on my front leg i have some more black stripes.
You can even see hansel creeping behind me, and he TOO has black stripes.
Mom didn't want to show benny, even though he was purchased as a black and silver schnauzer, he is ALREADY turning silver. But, the process to get rid of those wild silver hairs is called 'stripping' and mom said she will not have that done to ben. We will just live with a dark gray schnau who will most likely be turning silver or have silver patches as he gets older. So much for the dark black schnau.

We thinks Benny is beautiful just the way he is. Fenris used to have a black stripe down his back but it is all gone now. We don't know what color he will be when he is all grown up, but we will LOVE him anyway. ~AFSS

We think Benny is perfect as he is. Shen is glad that his breed doesn't require stripping out of the coat as it doesn't sound very nice.
