it's soft and it quacks when i squish his head.

Almost Wordless Wednesday.

* Mom just got new lip gloss, and tesla wanted to smell it. It smells like Watermelon. Mom let tesla smell it. Not a good face. No sound really- taken with crappy phone.*

We just heard about brian's friend Harlan who needs his leg amputated. Remembering hansel and his pain of a leg that doesn't work right, we just went and donated. If you all have spare change, an extra dollar- why not give it to a baby in serious need?

Tesla Toosdeh.

What?
I'm not doing anything!
Not looking for anything to pee on...

I am enjoying being out again.
Even if it means only when the beans are home.
Because they protect me from the hansel anyway.

Mom put the calming collar on that our friends at the Daily Gs suggested.
Mom thinks it's helping.
She thinks she will continue to get them for me.
And maybe even get one for hansel to calm him the heck down.
He is really mean and attacks me all the time.

I know he just wants to play but sometimes, i just want to baf.
I get startled if i hear any noise near by and brace myself for the attack.
But other than watching out for hansel,
i am being a happy cat again in the house.
I stay close to mom though.

She keeps hansel off me.

Hello! We were invited to do a toy review!
We are reviewing the product Skinneeez for cats!
It's a cute little flamingo!

He has no stuffing so if we open him, we don't have to worry about DYING from innards.



OH BOY!
Hansel really loved this toy,
but while he was that close, i couldn't be bothered. (tesla)

he rolled around on the floor with it- which means there was good nip inside!

Did you know that nip also helps keep spiders and other insects away?
Tell your beans this- and make them get you tons of flamingos!

There is one way only to know if hansel REALLY enjoyed the toy...

Ez Sunday.

we're doing it right.

They're Home.

Well, our beans came home today.
We repurrted that our sitter bean did a fine job- and took care of us.

When mom and dad got home, they ran and let Tesla out.
She has to be locked up when they're not here to watch- because of the pee issue AND because I won't someone won't leave her alone and she growls and hisses when that purrson doesn't let her be.

Ben is ALSO home, thanks to all of you for the healing vibes and purrs and head butts. As always, mom bean truly believes that you all made him well.
He's still not purrfect. Still on medicine and his stool is still soft. But, no diarrhea.
First order of business when he came home was a bath- to not anger tesla with the vet smell. She gets real mad when Hansel smells of the vet. Imagine a week of vet smell.
and sour beard, and diarrhea butt.

When mom picked him up in the kennel, he screamed louder than he ever has before- mom was almost afraid he was in pain. She took him out with dad and let him run at the clinic, and he screamed and barked and howled and wooooooed. He was so happy to see the beans.

They took him home where he's had several cubes and mom has made sure she can see him at all times. The beans played with him tons and he is just so happy to be home.

I of course am happy that the beans are home as well. And, that sisfur is out. Hopefully she'll get used to me again real soon. She growled at me for playing to rough, BUT she jumped over the couch and ran around the house playing with ben.

What gives?
she said something about ben not jumping on her back and biting her alla time.
Certainly, she can't be talking about .... me?

Well.

Monday morning came and ben was driven back up to the clinic. He was getting worse- back to diarrhea and his activity was going down. he looked like he was tired all the time.

So he is still at the clinic, and that's why there have been no new photos since monday of us at the beach with him- because he's not here.

Missing him.

But we get updates EVERY day from our vet via text- telling us how he's doing- and updating us on anything we need to know.

Ben is doing well, still soft stools but dr. j is keeping a close eye on him for me.

What ben's up to.

Last night, we went for a bunch of walks.
Here is the small island late at night.
My beans fish there.

Here i am at the bay.
I'm not allowed to go to the beach during the day
because it's too hot and i have heat intolerance.
So they take me to the bay when it's cooler.

I don't mind the bay because it's calmer, so i walked in the water.

Vacation.

This week we are on bay-cay-shun.

The cats are home with their catsitter for the week, and benjamin- is here at the beach with us. And also Isis. Stay tuned for photos from them here.

Ben did get ill on thursday morning- a flare up of his colitis. He almost didn't get to go with us, but our vet medicated him right away and we have him on meds and strict diet directions and our vet is available for us to call him at anytime with any questions. But so far- *knock on wood* he seems like he's doing alright.

i'm still a nervous wreck and scared because of the last time this happened he needed iv fluids for a weekend. So i'm hoping that we caught it before it happened and we're fixing the problem.


At least we're no TOO far from the clinic - only 2 hours- if he has to go back. AND there is an animal clinic RIGHT around the corner if immediate attention is needed.
