More Trees?

Mom and Dad picked me up at Aunt Isis's house on Sunday night.
That's when we decorated THEIR tree.
:)

Mom LOVES this tree, and the star.
Never seen another like it.
What a tree!
Load it up!

The bucket of ornaments.
For years mom says they had all of them in an old
sad looking cardboard box. But finally it couldn't go on any more.
Mom still misses that box!

Oliver!
He used to play music, but a few years ago he stopped.
He is STILL mom's favorite ornament.

Exhausted from all the tree decorating!

Dad teaches me to hang ornaments.

Back to sleep...

Tree all finished! LOOK AT IT GO!
Mom said she will try to get a video of it next time.

The most beautiful christmas tree ever.

Beginning to look a lot like christmas...

Today, we spent the day decorating the house.
Well actually.
Mom did. We snoopervised.
Mom and dad slept in today instead of getting us super cool deals on super cool things.
I'm sure because they already have super cool things right?

Then dad went to play foot ball with his brothers and friends,
mom decorated most of the house, then dad came back just in time to put up the tree
and we decorated together.

Here we go:
Mom's collection of little christmas knick knacks- see all the penguins?
Mom loves penguins.
They are ALL gifts (the penguins) from other people!

Mom put the garland up over the windows...

"I halped mommeh!"
Actually he just whapped stuff.

Then the cling ons...

He got in the way of stuff....

Tesla smelled them a bit...

Look gud mommeh, proceeds.

Ben watches safely from the chair...

What's UNDER the table cloth?

They go crazy for hiding under them.

The tree...

Ben posing... he's afraid of the tree...

Everything is done!

~*~*~*~
Update on our plant-
This morning it FINALLY sprouted!
We had nothing until now.
Mom thought she killed it before it even got a chance to live!

Happy Thanksgiving!

First off, we are thankful for this FUD that is in front of us.
Mom gave us stinky goodness, AND crunchies for dinner.
Tesla can't have special flavors because she's on S/O strictly.
(booo!)
But mom was too afraid to screw anything up she she stuck to the S/O.

Hansel eats S/O crunchies because tesla does.
BUT, he also got a Turkey & Giblet stinky goodness meal.
He's the only one we can fun with the food and flavors!

Even ben is on a strict diet, of W/D & I/D.
So... we HAVE to let Hansel have fun, he's the only one who
so far has normal insides!
We are VERY thankful for that!

We are also thankful today because it's our 600 th post on this blog! That's big news!
Thank you all for helping us get here!

We are thankful for all our friends who stick by us, even if mom is failing at visiting.
For all of you who leave comments.
To all our friends in general.
To our mom and dad for letting us have this blog,
and for each other and how we have overcome many MANY obstacles and have
been able to stay together!
We are quite the team!

---

But, we wanted to take a few moments to mention some special friends, who have touched our hearts and our lives. Some people who need to be recognized for all they do. Chances are you don't even know it, but i bet at some point they've helped you too.

Have you ever had an auction somewhere around the blog?
Chances are they either donated an item, or were bidding on one for you.
They always participate in anything to help others.

When the lady called mommy and asked her to give a reference for these friends, for rescuing a dog who needed help desperately and a family who would need to be a perfect match... mom wasted no time.

But what mom loved the MOST about doing this reference- she was able to be completely honest, and speak from her heart.
She told that lady about this family.

About how countless times, this family has helped other families, spared no expense to take care of their babies. How they had helped our family many many times.
How this family, was beyond all others. How they were honestly, the most amazing people we have ever met. How blessed we are to have them as a heart family. How incredibly thoughtful and amazing. But words can't really express the way our family feels about this family.

How we are certain, without a doubt, there are NO two people in the whole world, who are as giving, thoughtful, and loving as these two people.
Who's dogs are just as loving and willing to give everyone a chance, and help others when they are in need.

How in the past they have helped countless families around the blogs,
and how they have again, helped us many many many times!

Friends, we are talking about Siku & Quinn's parents, Sue & Steve.
Today we are so incredibly thankful that we are their friends.
That we have been lucky enough to have found them.

Friends, if you do not know this family, you are missing way too much in your life.
You must go and visit their blogs and learn all the amazing things they do.

This banner is all the supporters for their cause

If you don't know the story, Siku was an only dog last year at this time.
Early this year, Quinn was a lost eskie in California, who was on death row. They did everything they could, and found a way to have other wonderful amazing people, like Prinnie's parents (who actually delivered Quinn to this family!) and bring their new baby Quinn home to live with them.

Below: Quinn sits happily next to our dad when we met him in October

Quinn was a street dog, and now is thriving and a wonderful boy. We were so lucky to have met him in early October this year.

However my friends, the story gets better. Two more dogs were in desperate need of help. The one that mom gave a reference for. That lady was so happy with the reference and said, 'we have never ever had such a great reference, and she wished that there were more families out there like this, and they seemed just perfect for Angel' --- who is now Nuka, (which means little sister) and living happily in her new home- since 2 weekends past.

Below: Nuka

Then, this past weekend, Puff came to live with the family.
Puff is a very nervous girl, and just diagnosed with heartworm disease.
She will be treated and taken care of, and will be a healthy happy dog, we are sure of it, thanks to this family.

Below: Nuka on the floor, and Puff on the couch.

We wish there were more people like this out there, maybe half as special. We don't want anyone to be AS great as this family, because we don't want to take away how special they are.

We hope you will join us on their journey, and take a moment to go and tell them along with us, how incredibly Thankful we are for them, and all they do!!!

And of course, how thankful we are to princess siku, who shares her home with open paws to all those in need :)

We love you all!!!!!

The Great Walkie

My aunt isis led the way through the fallen leaves.

I followed close behind.
-the colors were stunning!

She was really in a hurry to see more and more.
She keeps a very high speed during her walks.
She likes to see the world.

I'm more of a stay and sniff to see who's been at this part of the world kind of guy.

pretty leaves had fallen on the road as we walked back to the car

I am sniffing for goodies. After all, i AM a terrier.

What mom?!

Beautiful yellows...

Sharing a drink after the walk.

don't forget to check out my aunt's blog, princess isis today and tomorrow for HER version.
