When things calm down because the beans are all home.Well mom is always home but dad's home too.
More beans to yell at hansel when he tries to pounce on me.

Ben had his yearly check up yesterday.Looking good. He had all his vaccines he needed to be updated, his canine influenza, bordetella, three year distemper vaccine, and his heartworm check.
Last year when he had his canine distemper- it was a one year vaccine, AND he reacted to it pretty badly.
His whole face swelled up and we had to go BACK to the vet to have it fixed.However, mom later found out it was because the vaccines were made by Fort Dodge. And, those vaccines tend to be cheaper, and almost all the dogs that got this vaccine (it had no lepto in it so there shouldn't be a reaction, it's the safest form) reacted as well. So when mom first started working at the new place and heard her vet and SEVERAL reps saying fort dodge is cheap, mom decided she would never ever let any of us receive a vaccine by that company again.
So, ben received his shots, and for the first time ever, mom wasn't worried. And, he didn't react at all.he was fine. AND now he's good for three years on it. So, we are very happy about that.He is eating his food again, because dad tried putting water on it one time, and it's worked ever since!Ben figured out mom's trick of putting all the food in one bowl the very next day. So if there is water in there just a bit- it'll soften it enough so that he eats it excitedly just like before. Hoping that stays like that.
Ben is getting very excited, because he is getting back in shape for the walk and wag a thon.We have raised $155 of our $200 goal!We are the second highest participant in the fundraiser so far (online that is) the highest is 180.

Wat a weeks. Baybee haz become unsettled in da ams, so mommeh iz REAL tired. But, baybee IZ goin ta sleeps by 9 pms. So, mommeh only hazza git up 2 times durin da night ta feeds now. Not too bad. The SCHNAU iz still actin funneh, wants water all da tim, and doesna wanna eet dins. Dis mornin- dun tell the schnau, but mommeh TRICKED him, put his dinner amount in wifhims breakfast an him ated effuree last piece. HA! Stoopid schnau.
