So wanted to tell you that mom was going to upload some photos just now but it's taking too long, so she will have to resize them.  She is trying to get back in the swing of things with blogging, and going to try to devote a bit of time each evenign to catch up.  It may mean we can only view the most recently updated ones each night but it's better than none right?  It just takes a lot catching up!!!

Wanted to let everyone know we've been thinking of you, esp. because of christmas coming up, and thinking about how long we've known everyone here at the blogosphere and how much you all mean to us. We hope you can forgive us for not being here more often.    Really going to try to change that.   You all have been a big part of our lives, and we have met some pretty amazing people through you all!!!!!

Quick update:

Benny has been doing very well, but is missing Isis. He looks for her sometimes around the house. He may be getting good news very very soon, but we don't want to say anything until we are definite.  It sounds pretty good though.

Baybee is doing pretty well too. She's getting huge, and is teething (again surprise) so she's been a bit off lately, but she's a pretty good baybee i guess.

I have been doing very well.   I only attacked the christmas tree once, and i've been playing a bit more with baybee but i'm still cautious of her. She likes to try to kiss me on my nose but that fat head can be intimidating that close to my face.

I hope to be back later this week starting with some very recent photos.  :)   Hope everyone is well!!!

Happy Thanksgiving

Today I am dropping by to say I am very thankful for my beans who rescued me from the shelter some 4 ish years ago.   

I am thankful that my aunt isis is in a better place, where she is free from pain, and that mommeh was with her throughout her final moments.    Nothing could be done to ease her pain in life, so it was the least they could do for her. Today is supposed to be a day of thanks and celebration for all we have. but since it is the first thanksgiving without isis, mommeh's heart is a little sad, but she is  trying to see good in all of it. But it is hard. We are super thankful for everyone here on the blogs who have left kind words. Reading those words have really helped ease the pain. Thank you for coming and listening, and for caring.

Today we are super thankful for all we do have, for all of you our friends,  and for each other.  And of course, Thankful for me. :)

I personally am thankful that mommeh bought me a special kitteh stinky goodness that is turkey. So that i will be getting some tonight too!  :)  Happy Thanksgiving Everyone, from our home to yours, we wish you nothing but the very best.

Goodbye sweet friend

Mommeh just returned home a bit ago from putting down her dog that they got when she was 15.   Isis blogged over at http://princess-isis.blogspot.com/  

Her heart is hurting, and she has been crying a lot since returning home.

The place that they took her to have the procedure done, gives two injections. One is an anesthetic, and one is the actual euthanasia solution.  

moms brother was on one side with their mom, isis was in the middle, and mom was on the other side with baybee.  After Isis received the first injection, she was standing in the middle, but then as it was getting close to making her sleep, she walked over to mommy, and kissed baybees hand. She had never done that before.  She kissed her a bunch and then kissed mommy.   Mommy of course took that as a goodbye and lost it but kissed sweet isis and told her how sorry she was and loved her so much.

Isis then laid down with some help and went to sleep.  She finally, after all this time... is not in any pain or distress anymore.

Before the last injection, the mom's  mom took the baybee out with her, and mom and her brother stayed.  After more goodbyes and crying, the last injection was giving and isis was finally released to run free hopefully in a world of endless waves and things to pounce and chase.  

until we meet again, we love you so very very much miss isis.   you were the best dog ever.

Here I am, 4 years later. Living in MY house, enjoying MY world.  Although it is quite altered from what it was when i first arrived. We've been through many adventures, troubles, new things...  But i'm not going anywhere ever!

Take it in, look how grand I am!!!!  Nice full furs. Weighing in at 12 something pounds. I am a tiger! Incredibly handsome says mommeh. Well, for once she's right.

This is what i looked like when i moved in. Straggly, and smelly.
And i had worms and ear mites.
yuck.

I could clear a room with just one 'poot'. i was fresh from the wild, and very unclean. Look at my furs!!

But mommy always smiles when she sees my kitten photos, because to her... she didn't see how unclean my furs were!!!  She saw what i look like today. Just a fluffy, handsome, extremely loving cat!!
I mean really, could you resist that face?

SO, we are still planning on using blogger- because some our dear friends do not have facebook, so to stay in touch, we will continue to use blogger.

the good news is...

Well i said there was good news didn't i??

it really is good.

mommeh got out the camera- solely for a photo shoot with ME!   She got a lot of photos.  she got a few of baybee too (rotten baybee) but there are current shots again! her hope is to get them all up and running reallllly soon.

We also wanted to know what you guys thought- we know some kitties have gone over to the world of fb.   What do you think of us going and you all following us there?  just a thought.  Don't know how it would really work though. let me know! 

hopefully i'll have those new photos up soon!!!

Can you even believe it?time is flying. It's already the middle of July.And you know what that means.

The baybee bean is 11 and a 1/2 months. That means, She's that much closer to walking.*gulp*

So i'm just gonna relax!

Saturday Caturday?

Then the beans went on another trip,
to the mountains.   Baybee did very well.  This was a few days long so i hadmy grammy bean come visit me and take care of me.   This was much better than staying at a kennel. While they were there, there were tornado warnings and everyone was told to get in their bathroom because one touched down really close.They lost power all night long, and mommeh says it was kind of scary.

but there were beautiful views and it was very nice there. mommy liked it. Except of course for the tornado. Oh yeah and a rattlesnake wandered into the tent where they were having a bbq, and the park ranger came and took him deeper into the park.

looks like even baybee enjoyed the view.

Shame they didn't bring me, i could've put that snake in his place.

Recapping on some journeys!

So, baybee got to go on vacayshuns while i stayed inside this summer so far. Baybees. No fair.They went for her first trip to the Aquariums.And met a turtle and other animals!

The next day, they went to the zoo!
That baybee grabs EVERYTHING.

Well, i'm sorry i've been gone for a little while, but things have been very busy around here. With summer being here, there has been a LOT of going out and about. Although with this heat, i don't understand why. Do you know it got to be over 100 degrees here yesterday?! no thanks, i'll stay in the air. Although, of course, this is a photo taken of me in the beginning of summer before the heat came.

Mom has to get back on the ball with the photos! jeez! And the blog!

i luf bein outside I can gif birds an bugs dirty looks.

Dis of course scares dem all real bad.

(on another note, last friday i went to the V-E-T. I am now 12.5 lbs!  I look furry healthy. The dr man said my heart murmur sounds the same as last year so no changes.  My legs and my licking problem, he said he wouldn't do anything if it were his cat.   So, i have a nice clean bill of health. I get three year vaccines so no shots this year since i got them last year.  Just looked over and petted. :)   I did well guys!  Even when he was listening intently to my heart and the baybee SCREAMING because she discovered the room echoed if she was real loud. She really seemed to enjoy that...)
